first and foremost, thanks for listening to them. if you did listen to them. if you came all this way and just looked at the cute little animated audio tape spinning around, but never actually figured out how to play the songs… well then, i pity you. but assuming you listened, thank you…
the first one - Northern Tree - passed my totally-random-and-madeup goal of 100 streams to become downloadable. that sounds gross, but basically it means you can have the song for free. at this place:

if the other song - I Can’t Take You Back (or whatever it’s called this week) - gets 100 streams or more, we’ll do the same. sell ‘er out back for free, y’all!! just like her big bro!
and a note about autotune - many of you commented on Northern Tree and asked about the vocals. yes - i did put autotune on it. my experiment was 2-part : one was that the autotune sort of weirdly helped me detach from the song, since i didn’t write the lyrics. don’t ask me what that means, it just makes sense to me. also, i think autotune can sometimes be a cool texture or character or emotion to convey. like another color in the crayon box. and if you think autotune can’t have soul or skill involved, listen to bon iver and / or imogen heap. you hater.
thanks for tumblng with me guys! i’ll keep posting songs here - the ugly ducklings that don’t become the Hits. but i say, Let them eat duckling!!
